Yes — HK Logistics LLC carries three layers of insurance for your protection. Cargo insurance up to $100,000 through Liberty Mutual. Automobile liability through GEICO. General liability through Biberk. For high-value or fragile shipments, clients are required to declare the item's value at the time of booking so everything is properly documented before it moves.
We currently accept payment via PayPal invoice, Zelle, and ACH bank transfer. Invoices are sent promptly after delivery. For recurring clients on scheduled routes, we can set up net terms. If you have a preferred payment method not listed here, just ask — we're flexible.
Absolutely. We regularly handle fragile, sensitive, and high-ticket freight. The requirement is simple: declare the item's value and nature at the time of booking. We carry cargo insurance through Liberty Mutual covering up to $100,000, so as long as your shipment falls within that limit and is properly declared, you're covered. If you have special handling requirements — blanket wrap, upright transport, temperature sensitivity — let us know upfront and we'll accommodate.
More than 24 hours notice: No charge — fully waived. 2–24 hours notice: 50% of the agreed rate is due. Less than 2 hours notice: Full charge, no exceptions — your slot was held and our team was committed. Same-day bookings cancelled after confirmation: Full charge, no exceptions. Once we confirm a same-day job, that run is locked in. No-show or no access at pickup: Full rate plus a $50 no-show fee. If we arrive and cannot complete the delivery due to circumstances on the client's end, the run is fully billable. Weather or force majeure: No charge to the client — we'll reschedule at no penalty. By booking with HK Logistics, you agree to these terms.
For the safety of our team, clients, and the public, HK Logistics does not transport the following: hazardous materials (hazmat) of any class, live animals, human remains, illegal or controlled substances, unsecured firearms or ammunition, items exceeding our cargo insurance coverage without prior written agreement, or any freight that violates federal, state, or local law.
